I have little people, can we hang out at your cafe?
Yes, you sure can. We welcome all people into our cafe. We have a cozy little family corner with some toys and books for your littles to enjoy while you are here. We ask that you be sure to keep an eye on them and make sure they are within arms reach while you are visiting. We have some additional guidelines posted in our space we’d ask you to take note of, so be sure to look for those while here. The Nook has a great selection of kids sized foods and drinks as well. We do ask that strollers be stored outside if they must accompany you here as our space fills up fast and cannot accommodate them.
You’re Downtown, does that mean parking is a hassle?
Yep, we are happily located Downtown, which means there are lots of ways to get here. We are close to the LRT, on many major bus routes and the new bike lanes. If you need to drive, there are many paid lots to the east of us and city street parking as well. City parking is free after 6pm east of 97 Street.
The Quarters is an inner city neighbourhood, right?
We love our neighbourhood and chose it because it would allow many groups of people to come together and share a community space. There is a diverse group of humans who gather here from young families, artists, professionals and street folk. We believe the diversity ofour guests helps contribute to community growth. We seek to be a part of integration as this area of our city is revitalized.
I'm allergic to everything! What can I eat at your place?
Our cafe has a full-scale bakery and kitchen on site. This allows us to create things to order and while we do offer a number of vegan, nut free and/or gluten-free options. We make every effort to meet your dietary needs but are not able to guarantee there is no cross-contamination.
